About Us Naarden Inc.

It all started in 1773 with a nursery in the small rural town of Naarden, Netherlands 4 generations ago by my great, great grandfather Johannus Josephus Jurrissen. The nursery was named Kweek Lust which translates to "the love of growing." In the late 1950's my parents moved to the United States and in 1970, because of his "love for growing," my father decided to strike out on his own and continue his family's legacy. He named his new landscaping business Naarden Inc. to remember where it all began. The windmill sail in our logo is reminiscent of our Dutch origins.

For 59 years Naarden Inc. remains a family owned landscaping business. Having both grown up in the industry, my husband and I have a combined experience of more than 60 years.

We provide quality service and care for all of our landscaping projects whether in design, new construction, garden maintenance, or lawn care. No project is too small, we take pride in every detail to insure that our clients are completely satisfied with the end result, just ask our clients who have been with us for over 25 years.
